Find work at Jobs Fair

BANKSTOWN Central’s Jobs Fair will be returning on Tuesday, August 6.

The fair was a huge success last year and aims to connect people in the local community to work opportunities with many of the centre’s retailers who will be on-hand to discuss current or upcoming positions.

The Jobs Fair will be launched by Centre Manager Anthony Wilson who said participating retailers were looking for a range of applicants with varying skills, experience and qualifications.

“Last year’s Jobs Fair was a great success and we saw a very positive response from employees and employers, which is why we’re bringing our community together to explore employment pathways,” Mr Wilson said.

“We know our retail partners are also potential employers, which means candidates have the opportunity to connect with the right people in a friendly, welcoming, local environment,” Mr Wilson said.

Candidates are encouraged to bring a resume to the Jobs Fair as some retailers may be looking to conduct initial interviews on the day.

The Bankstown Central Jobs Fair will be held on Level 2, 9.30am-1.30pm and 2.30-5.30pm and is supported by the Australian Retail Association, TAFE NSW, Canterbury Bankstown City Council and the NSW Department of Jobs.
