Shortly before 2pm police were called to Union Street where they found the body of a man, believed to be in his 60s, in a truck in the driveway of a home.
When police entered the home, the body of a woman, believed to be in her 50s, was located inside.

Woman hit in face with firework probe
A WOMAN was hit in the face with a firework on Monday night on The Boulevarde at Punchbowl.
After reports of a number of loud bangs about 10.15pm, emergency services were called to the area, where paramedics treated the woman who was inside a nearby shop when she was hit to the face with the firework, and police dispersed a group of approximately 30 to 40 people.
Police have commenced an investigation, anyone who may have CCTV footage or mobile phone footage is urged to contact Campsie Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Arrest man over shooting, holdup
A MAN have been charged during an investigation into a shooting in Chester Hill earlier this month.
The alleged shooting took place in Everley Road about 9.30am Monday, October 2, involving three men.
A 22-year-old man was charged with discharge firearm with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, and possess unauthorised pistol in relation to Monday’s alleged incident and robbery in company and rob while armed with dangerous weapon in relation to the alleged robbery of a man at a business on Clapham Road, Sefton, about 4am last Sunday, October 1.
