Fenech protege to fight in ‘Big Chill’ at paceway

NEUTRAL Corner fight nights are proving popular at the Bankstown Paceway with the next Pro-am Boxing Tournament, ‘The Big Chill’, on offer next Saturday.

Rock up for a hot day and night of boxing and enjoy two shows for the price of one – with the first featuring many local talented teens from 14 years and up raring to go from 2pm, on Saturday, June 19.
Then the second show – a stunning showcase of professional boxing – will start at 6pm with a stacked fight card and many four-rounders so you can expect plenty of action.
The main event sees Bankstown boy Hassan Hamdan, son of Nader and trained by triple world champion Jeff Fenech, take on Wodonga’s Jack Moore over six rounds.
“This is truly a mega fight card with 10 professional bouts locked in,” promoter Paul Nasari said.
All the fighters will weigh in the night before at The Mill Hotel at 6pm, with all welcome to come along and enjoy the buzz.
“As this will be live-streamed across Australia, it’s a great opportunity for sponsors to get their signage around the boxing ring and play promotions in between bouts when we go to a break,” Nasari said.
“The live-stream last time reached over 5,000 people across the country.
“Upcoming bouts are also scheduled for August 14 and November 20.”
Tickets, $70 for general entry, are on sale now including VIP tables of 10 with a three-course meal plus alcohol; it’s the ideal way to entertain family, friends and clients.
Tickets: Nasari on 0413 812 274.
