Dad Daniel Tavita is the coach of the Bulls under 8s and the under 16s Girls teams.
He has four children playing at the Bulls – an eight-year-old daughter, two daughters that play for the under 16s Girls team and son Xander who usually plays with the under 18s Gold Boys team.
With Daniel volunteering at the club since 2013, Xander has been playing with the Bulls since 2012 and also assists his father as a trainer for the girls teams as well as backing up for the first time as a player for the Open Men’s Silver side to play with his father before community sport was shut down at the end of June.
Club secretary Hussein Dia said: “This is the first time that the club has ever had a father and son play together on the same team and the Bulls are extremely proud of this moment.”
