New pastor Reverend Grant de Villiers (on the left) said: “With John’s retirement, I will be taking on the role of senior minister and look forward to the opportunity of serving the local community.”
Rev John added he was sad to farewell the congregation but would be staying on in the Canterbury Bankstown area as a pastoral consultant.
“It’s been a wonderful decade and I thank all for their friendship and support,” he said.
