FABULOUS, free entertainment will burst onto the stage at Petersham RSL this weekend, starting with ever popular singer Mark Jonas on Thursday from 6pm.
Mark has over 10 years’ full-time experience as a band manager, session guitarist and music producer as well as extensive experience in live music bands in Sydney.
Next up on Friday from 6pm, is the legendary singer-guitarist Tony Remedios who has been entertaining for over 30 years.
Coming from a string of tribute and cover bands – Beatnix, Echoes, Fab Four and recently, 60s Charttoppers, he still maintains a strong passion for the music he loves.
His main forte lies in the delivery of authentic cover versions being able to emulate whichever singer he covers – think classic gold of the 50s, 60s and 70s.
Head back to the club on Saturday from 7pm to enjoy a dynamic duo – Boy Meets Girl – a versatile and vastly experienced team who have entertained international and Australian audiences for many years bringing together a performance that includes rock, latin, country, swing and ballads from yesteryear’s hits to today’s pop.
Boy Meets Girl has the ability to please even the most discerning audience with a huge variety of great songs; you’ll be up on your feet without even realising it.
Then from 2pm on Sunday, ‘Back to the Tivoli’ provides the ultimate in variety entertainment, featuring comedy, instrumentalists, singers, dancers, ventriloquists and contortionists as well as stunning showgirls gracing the stage as the magnificent Tivoli band gets into full swing.
For those that enjoyed the pleasure of the wonderful Tivoli Theatre concerts, the magnificent musical memories come flooding back to them.
