All seven bouts had the spectators on their feet who cheered as Jason Fawcett and Anton Markovic went toe to toe for the full eight rounds, with Fawcett taking a unanimous decision.
Another highlight was Melbourne’s Jack Stevens who took on Sydney’s Danvers Cuschieri in a cliffhanger, with the Sydney boxer getting a majority decision over four rounds.
Neutral Corner promoter Paul Nasari said the semi main event for the NSW lightweight title was absolute war between Daniel Carr and Emmett Brown.
“At the end of eight hard rounds, they couldn’t split them and it was a draw,” he said.
“By now the place was ecstatic as Tywarna Campbell and Jessica Adams slugged it out for the women’s super featherweight; after eight rounds Campbell won by unanimous decision.
“Thanks goes to all sponsors, especially Ironwood Timber and First Class Tree Service.”
Neutral Corner heads to Ulladulla for the next fight night on April 2 before the long-awaited return to the Revesby Workers’ Club on July 2.
