Netball4All

WOULD you love to play netball throughout the year?

Netball4All

Or are you looking for a fun, bonding activity to do with workmates or family?
Maybe you love netball but don’t want to have to train or wear a uniform?
Underway in Auburn since 2005, Netball4All is open to male and female players aged 14 years and over with games on Mondays and Thursdays at 7 and 8pm and an Autumn, Winter and Spring carnival at the end of each competition.
All games are played at the Wyatt Park tennis courts in Auburn and there are free, optional training clinics ahead of the weekly games, 6.30-7pm.
Netball4All directors Ann Maree Kopos and Kim Higgins say there are 110 teams playing in the present competition which winds up in time for the Winter Carnival on July 18.
“We have a lot of players that hadn’t played since school,” Ann Maree said.
“They’d married and had children and stepped away from sport but were looking to get involved in a fitness activity again.
“Others have entered mixed teams of work colleagues or family groups and don’t want the fuss of organising uniforms and we supply the umpires and the balls to make it even easier.”
The cost is $20 to register and $125 a player a season, with the Winter Carnival costing $35 a player with prizes to be won and a fun-filled day to be enjoyed.
