Family films ‘under stars’

GATHER your friends and family and enjoy the outdoors with blockbuster movies coming to Bankstown, Earlwood, Yagoona and Revesby.

CBCity is getting back to events in 2022, with the launch of its new Movies Under the Stars series and night markets, and the return of many of the popular annual events such as the Bankstown Bites Food Festival and Ramadan Nights.
Movies Under the Stars will be held in February and March.
Grab a bite at one of the food trucks and enjoy kid’s activities, before settling on your picnic blankets with your favourite treats and popcorn.
The free event features movies for all ages, including Cruella and Tom & Jerry.
Canterbury Bankstown Mayor Khal Asfour says one of his main priorities is to bring back some of the great community events that have been affected by Covid over recent years.
“It is great our community has been following health restrictions over the past couple of years and embraced the Government’s call to get vaccinated,” Mayor Asfour said.
“It is only now that we can get back to the things we love – like our events – because of the hard work we all did during the many lockdowns.”
Movies include: Tom & Jerry – Saturday, February 26, 5-9.30pm, at Paul Keating Park, Bankstown; Paw Patrol: The Movie – Saturday, March 5, 5-9.30pm, at Gough Whitlam Park, Earlwood; Cruella (2021) – Saturday, March 12, 5-9.30pm, at O’Neill Park, Yagoona; and Space Jam: A New Legacy (2021) – Saturday, March 19, 5-9.30pm, at Amour Park, Revesby.
