The boys visited Chester Hill Fire Station with mum Hannah, who said the boys love anything to do with sirens and it was a great opportunity for them.
“We met amazing fire fighters, grabbed some goodie bags (which my boys really enjoyed), cute fire hats and also sprayed some water out of the hose at the back. It was a fun day,” she said.
FRNSW Commissioner Paul Baxter said from fires, road crashes, hazardous material incidents and natural disasters, to urban search and rescue, “crews are prepared for anything and ready to help anytime, anywhere”.
“A large part of our role is to educate the community about shome fire safety and that’s where Open Day comes in,” he said.
