CECAL is offering fortnightly nutritious, affordable and quick cooking meal classes, with one, some or all family members invited to join the class to learn how to cook dinner for and take home.
“These classes are open to everybody (with or without children) in the community,” a spokesperson said.
“The classes will follow different recipes every session. Classes will be run by a cooking facilitator who will lead the whole cooking process and participants will work in a group. This is a fun way to cook dinner for the whole family; everybody is welcome!”
Getting underway on Monday, March 16, the classes will be held from 4-5.30pm at CECAL Community Hall, 15 Clarke Street, Earlwood.
Cost is $5 a person, bring food containers and an apron.
Places are limited! Booking is essential by calling Salma or Petra on 9559 4013 or email communityworker@cecal.org.au. Advise any special dietary requirements at the time of booking.
