Volunteers from the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church’s Rapid Relief Team (RRT) joined forces with Fun Flight to help make the day a memorable one for everyone involved.
Offering quality catering assistance to charitable and government organisations, RRT volunteers served up about 350 free meals including classic beef burgers and sausage sandwiches to the event’s participants.
Church spokesperson Lloyd Grimshaw said RRT always looked forward to the worthy event which gave kids who were affected by adversity, a wonderful experience.
“We are a Christian Charity that operates with Christian values and this is an excellent opportunity for us to display our kindness and compassion to children and their families who need it most,” Mr Grimshaw said.
