Extra 35 social housing unit win

SOCIAL housing will be increased with 35 new units to be built in Granville.

Minister for Families, Communities and Disability Services, Alister Henskens, said they were part of a program to deliver more than 270 new homes in partnership with 14 community housing providers.
Community Housing Industry Association CEO Mark Degotardi said the funding would enable community housing providers to start construction on shovel-ready projects.
The units will be operated by Better Housing Australia.

Charged over $142,000 fraud
A MAN, 52, from Merrylands, has been charged after an investigation into fraudulent applications to an insurance company totalling more than $142,000.
He was charged with 25 counts of publish false misleading material to obtain advantage, three counts knowingly deal with proceeds of crime, dishonestly obtain financial advantage by deception, and possess prohibited drug.
Police will allege the man fraudulently received payments from an insurance company totalling $142,430.45 dating back to April 2018.
