Expand learning to onsite cafe

TAUGHT and coached by staff dedicated to improving their learning opportunities, Bass High students enjoy study environments outside of the classroom including the onsite Bass Cafe and agriculture farm which offer real-life work experience.

With a positive, supportive environment focused on active learning built on the core values of respect for self and for the broader community, the school offers a number of educational and wellbeing programs that help them succeed.
These include a whole school reading program for Stage 4 students, university literacy partnerships for Years 7 to 9, the Rugby League program and partnerships with various community groups such as the Smith Family and Canterbury Bankstown Chamber of Commerce.
Senior students enjoy a choice of traditional HSC subjects as well as Vocational Education Training courses in Business Services, Information Technology, Hospitality, Sports Coaching, Retail Services and Construction.
There is also a Special Education Unit which supports the needs of students with a range of disabilities.
State-of-the-art facilities include a performing arts studio, fitness centre, fully equipped gym, commercial kitchens and modern science laboratories.
Innovative technologies including robotics, laptops, 3-D printers and iPads, provide students with access to the world of information beyond the classroom.
The school also has a long and proud sporting history with outstanding results across many sports at regional, state and national levels.
