‘Every mum expects flowers’

FLOWERS, chocolates, jewellery, fragrance and special dinners will be on the menu next week when families get together to show their appreciation for their special lady on Mother’s Day.

Restaurants, theatres, coffee shops and shops selling Mother’s Day related products will be particularly busy and those wishing to eat out may need to book with the restaurant of their choice in advance.
The same goes for planning and ordering gifts to avoid last-minute disappointment if stocks run out.
The award-winning Maria’s Fresh Flowers in Padstow at 21 Faraday Road, will also be stepping up the ante for one of its most special days of the year, offering free local delivery and a stunning range of bouquets, balloons, plants, chocolates and gift vouchers with bouquets starting from $20.
“Of course, you can’t go wrong with flowers, that’s what every mum expects,” Maria said.
Open seven days a week from 7am to 6.30pm weekdays, 7am-5pm on Saturdays and 9am-1pm on Sundays, Maria says it’s better to order gifts and flowers prior to the day for pick up or delivery.
