Entertainment fit for king at Royal Hotel

Every Friday night local artists are given the opportunity to perform for enthusiastic crowds in the recently renovated, iconic building.
Holding a competition to discover the best local live entertainers at the start of 2022, the Royal has now rewarded the finalists with regular bookings for ‘Friday Night Live @ The Royal’ where talented up and coming artists share the bill with some of the best seasoned performers.
Entry is free and the show starts at 8pm every Friday, with finalist Hayden Daniel kicking off the entertainment this Friday, January 20, and performing his new single, ‘Stick with You’, live for the first time.
“I am really grateful to the Royal Hotel Granville; the staff and the audience have been really supportive of my music,” he said.
Royal Hotel Granville event manager Clay White says the pub’s new outdoor entertainment space is a game changer for musicians.
“It’s not a jam session or practice run; these artists have proven themselves ready but without a venue that could support live music, nobody knew how good they were – until now,” he said.
In a further entertainment offering and a platform for local talent, ‘Sunday Sessions @ The Royal’ will kick off on February 5 in the new family-friendly bistro and outdoor area from 4pm, with free parking available.
