Enjoy Origin 1 with NRL star

THE toughest, most demanding, most emotionally-charged contest in rugby league, State of Origin is the annual three-game battle played out between two groups of people hailing from either side of Australia’s rugby league heartland – NSW and Queensland.

With the first game kicking off next week on Wednesday, May 31, from 8.05pm, a fantastic opportunity for fans is to head to Bankstown RSL Club to watch live on the big screen and loudly cheer on all of our favourite NSW players.
In a special treat from 7pm, Manly First Grade prop powerhouse Aaron Woods will be in attendance and offering his game insight to the crowd as well as Bankstown RSL Ambassador and NRL commentator Anthony Maroon.
The Triple M radio personality says it will be fantastic to hear from Woods who has “been there and done that”.
“He’s played in a lot of Origin and First Grade games and he’ll have a lot to say,” he said.
“We’ll have a pre-game, half-time and full-time wrap and fans will be able to ask any questions or add to the discussion.”
Maroon said they’re expecting a big crowd of enthusiastic fans who will be enjoying giveaways on the night as well as two for the price of one burgers.
“Queenslanders are also welcome,” he said with a laugh.
“It’s going to be a fun, exciting night and everyone’s invited.”
