Enjoy great day out at school after voting

ASHBURY Public School has so much on offer this coming Federal Election Day on Saturday, May 18, whether you’re voting in the morning or afternoon.

To help raise funds for the school, voters can purchase tasty bacon and egg rolls, coffee or hot chocolate, a sausage sandwich and trimmings, home-made cakes, pickles, chutneys and jams, and herbs, seedlings and succulents from the school’s community garden.
The school’s celebrated band will be busking during the day, with these talented young musicians always worth a donation.
Principal Ben Heinecke said: “Our P&C has raised funds to help the school purchase iPads, reading resources, playground equipment, musical instruments, classroom blinds and much more. Fundraising activities like on Election Day are crucial to enabling us to continually enhance our students’ education.”
