Empower yourself with latest at Expo

SHOWCASING high value opportunities for people with disabilities to live their best lives and plan for the future, the free Sydney Disability Expo will bring together an extensive range of products and services under one roof in early August.

Also ideal for carers, friends and families of those with disabilities, the expo will feature a vast array of support organisations such as government, advocacy groups, aids and equipment providers, financial and legal services, education, training and employment providers, social and leisure options, transport, health and medical products and services, allied health professionals and support services, including in-home care providers.
With over four million Australians living with a disability, the expo will also offer a range of informative and interactive presentations delivered by industry experts, children’s entertainment and food vendors.
Created to link thousands of people living with a disability with hundreds of product and service providers, the expo will also include NDIS representatives to answer questions and provide advice, mental health organisations, modified vehicles to sample and representatives from Cerebral Palsy Australia, Family Planning Australia and the Australian Financial Complaints Authority.
The expo will be held at Exhibition Hall 4, Sydney Olympic Park, which is easily reached by car or public transport, with an accessible shuttle bus linking the P1 carpark, station and the expo entrance.
“The expo provides valuable information to enhance accessibility and inclusion in everyday life,” a spokesperson said.
“It’s a welcoming space where individuals can learn, connect and empower themselves for a brighter future,” she said.
Attendees have praised the expo and organisers, with one saying it was “exceptionally well organised and the staff were super helpful and friendly”, while another said “it was a great first experience for me and my son, and so helpful”.
The Sydney Disability Expo – where your health is everyone’s priority – is on from Friday to Saturday, August 2-3, 9am-3pm.
