‘Eat Up’ all classic, bistro favourites

IF you haven’t already, now is the perfect time to grab a handful of friends and family and head to the new restaurant, ‘Eat Up’, inside Padstow RSL Club.

Chef Brendan Spurrier has had years of experience producing traditional as well as modern culinary delights and said his menu had something for everyone.
Meat lovers will be lost in a world of juicy goodness thanks to the grain fed rump, black Angus scotch fillet or beautiful Wagyu beef burger.
There’s plenty of divine chicken dishes too including buttermilk fried chicken burger, chicken schnitties, chicken parmis, grilled tenderloins and buffalo wings.
Crispy skinned barramundi is always a crowd pleaser with other seafood winners including fish tacos, salmon fillets and battered flatheads.
For the traditionalists, there’s pork and fennel sausages with mash, peas and gravy, as well as pasta dishes including spaghetti bolognese, fettucine boscaiola, rigatone arrabiata, and prawn linguine.
Spiced squid, pork empanadas, falafel bowls and scrumptious, cheesy nachos are also hard to go past along with the fine selection of crispy golden pizzas which even feature a garlic chilli and prawn option.
With plenty of interesting salads, sides and starters also on offer, Brendan says he’s already had a great response from the locals.
“We’ve already got diners returning with their friends and giving us some great compliments,” he said.
“There are also daily specials on the way.”
Eat Up is closed on Monday, open on Tuesday and Sunday for lunch only and for lunch and dinner from Wednesday to Saturday.
