They dismissed the Bulls for a total of 149 runs, well short of the 305 runs.
The Bulls tried hard but were no match for the Eagles’ persistent line and length tight bowling, which made it difficult for them to gain any momentum going in pursuit of the Eagles’ 305 run target.
All the Eagles bowlers bowled well, in particular, off-spinner Gihan Ebert with 4-72 (21 overs), pace bowler Sajjad Qaiser 3-26 (11 overs) and veteran left arm spinner, Mohamed (Moe) Dewji with 3-21 (8 overs).
With the Eagles inflicting such a heavy loss on the previously undefeated Bulls, it sends a message to all opposition teams of what the Eagles are capable of when the team stays focussed on the task at hand.
Next Saturday will see the Eagles take on arch rivals North West Sydney in what will be a keenly contested match, with a number of former Eagles players in the North West Sydney team, including ex-Auburn Captain Yasir Ali.
