Eagles in battle to stay on top

AUBURN Eagles have Roseville at 0-6 after finishing their innings with 166 runs in the Sydney Shires Cricket competition.

 

Eagles captain Ardil Domingo opened the batting and scored 37 with Shan Rana and John Starkey hitting 26 each.
With a dead slow pitch, every run was gold.
Back at Mona Park, second grade’s Bryce Billington took 5-32, John Goulding 3-93 and Martin Azzimi 2-45, to leave Roseville with 258.
It is a tough struggle in third grade. Roseville were all out 137 and the Eagles are 5-86. Simon Zammit took 5-45 and MacKenzie Casson, 2-35.
In fourth grade, Roseville were all out for 137 and the Eagles 1-29 at stumps. Shan Naeem took 4-45 while Lucas Cassen took 3-20.
In fifth grade, Auburn lost to North West Sydney.
