While investigating the fatal shooting of a 39-year-old man at Greenacre in April, detectives uncovered an alleged ongoing drug syndicate supplying methylamphetamine.
As a result, detectives established Strike Force Olphert to investigate and with the assistance of the Raptor Squad raided a home in Punchbowl early last Thursday morning.
During the search, police allegedly seized almost $25,000 cash, four luxury brand watches, steroids, and drug paraphernalia, which will undergo further forensic examination.
The man was charged with 37 offences including seven counts of supply large commercial quantity prohibited drug, six counts of deal with property proceeds of crime, and one count each of recklessly deal with proceeds of crime, and participate criminal group contribute criminal activity.
Investigations under Strike Force Olphert and Task Force Erebus are continuing.
