This was ahead of a visit from real-life police and firefighters who spoke to the students about their jobs, what was involved and their vital roles in keeping people out of harm’s way.
Student Izzette said: This term Kindergarten has been learning about community workers. I got to dress as a police officer. I love them because they keep me safe.”
Sophie added: “Police help everyone follow rules and they teach us many different ways to stay okay.”
