‘Dream’ customer key to success

DID you know you can start a business without spending any money?

There are dozens of free resources that you’ve probably never heard of and numerous ways to start-up and chart your course, with Business Connect Advisor and small business owner Jade Boland happy to share her secrets later this month during the ‘Business and Branding’ online webinar on Thursday, February 23, 10am-12pm.
Jade says a lot of people don’t have a ‘dream’ customer but all you need is one to start you on your journey.
She says that if you look at any of the supermarkets, their ‘dream’ customer is a married mum with children and all their marketing campaigns are based on her.
“That’s why Woolies has the free fruit for children on offer when you walk in; it’s part of their branding and great for mums who can walk into the store with a hungry kid knowing they’ll be the healthy food option of fruit to give them straightaway,” she said.
After you’ve identified your ‘dream’ customer and then have everything you do targeted at them, you can use social media, namely Instagram, to help it ripple out to the customer’s friends and family.
Jade will also be discussing generating leads, what building a brand looks like, business life cycles and free marketing tools.
