But, he says, there is a reason why it is so big and learning to understand it can save you a lot of trouble later on.
“Your solicitor or conveyancer can help you understand the details but only to the extent that you provide them with instructions,” he said.
“For example, if you want to put an in-ground pool, the sewerage diagram document will help you discover what limitations there might be on where to put the pool.
“Always share your plans with your solicitor or conveyancer so that they can provide the appropriate advice and conduct the relevant pre-contract searches and enquiries.”
