Donates items to wrap up Little Wings’ family in love

TALENTED crafter Marie Clarie has donated over 250 crocheted beanies, scarfs and blankets to help bring warmth and comfort to children with serious illnesses as Little Wings transports them from the bush to Sydney for lifesaving treatment.

A non-profit organisation, Little Wings provides free flight and ground transport services for sick children in rural and regional NSW and the ACT.
Marie learned about Little Wings through the Bankstown Sports Bingo sessions, which raises funds through the ClubGRANTS Scheme.
“When I heard about Little Wings providing services to families in their hour of need, I knew I wanted to help,” she said.
“I think everyone should be able to access medical care, regardless of where they live.”
Little Wings CEO Clare Pearson said Marie’s act of kindness had touched their hearts.
“Her handmade items will be treasured by families who spend long periods away from home,” Clare said.
“We thank her for her beautiful contribution and hope others are inspired to follow her example.”
