‘Donate for discount’ offer

A DIP in donations has led to the Salvation Army calling on the public to take a look in their wardrobe and see if they can spare a few winter items this chilly season.

By digging deep and donating warm clothes to help others this week, you could earn a 20 per cent Salvos Stores discount for use in store or online.
“So you can feel good while getting yourself a bargain,” Salvos Area Manager for Canterbury Bankstown, Steve Gillespie said.
“We are looking for those essential winter items, such as jumpers, jackets, beanies, and other warm clothes,” Steve said.
“So please, head down to Bankstown or Campsie Salvos and donate your winter goods to make a difference in other people’s lives.”
Each year, Salvos Stores raises over $39 million for the Salvation Army’s frontline work right across the country, which in turn helps over one million Aussies in need.
On top of this, shopping at Salvos Stores is good for the environment as they divert around 40 million items from landfill each year through the sale of goods.
