With this in mind, Canterbury Bankstown Chamber of Commerce (CBCC) has launched its 2023 Christmas Appeal in conjunction with the Entertainment Park (pictured) located next to Bankstown Airport.
This Christmas season, they are inviting residents to join in making a difference in the lives of children who are facing family challenges.
The ‘Toy Drive for Hope and Happiness’ will also support women in shelters and Bankstown Women’s Health Centre.
An Entertainment Park spokesperson said your generosity could create a world of difference.
“A simple toy can be a source of comfort, hope and happiness for a child who has witnessed hardship,” she said.
You can help by dropping off a toy to the Entertainment Park reception area, preferably in a gift bag, suitable for any age group – whether it’s a cuddly teddy bear, truck, colourful puzzle, a book, doll or a board game – your donation will make a child’s Christmas Day brighter.

IMAGINE being a parent and unable to buy your child a gift for Christmas, as there are thousands this year who will face a grim, heartbreaking festive season.
