It’s a feat Canterbury have produced seven times this season with their defence now second to none.
Jacob Kiraz scored the opening try in the 11th minute and the Dolphins scored next before Kiraz’s second try put the Bulldogs ahead 12-4.
Addo-Carr scored in the 36th minute with Matt Burton, Bronson Xerri and Connor Tracey adding to the tally.
Coach Cameron Ciraldo said holding the opposition scoreless in the second half, was a testament to their fitness.
“We had 10 new players at the start so it was a bit of trial and error but we’ve definitely found our grove in the last five or six weeks,” he said.
“It comes off the back of a hard pre-season; we had to tinker with a few things to suit what we’re good at … it’s not like the points were easy to come by tonight but we’re definitely capable of being a top four team.
“I feel like every game we get better and if we continue to do that, who knows what we’re going to be capable of.”
The Bulldogs face the Warriors on Friday from 6pm at Go Media Stadium in Auckland.
Other results: The Knock On Effect Cup, Bulldogs defeated by Roosters, 23-22, and battle the Warriors on Friday from 3.15pm at Go Media Stadium; and in the Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership, the Bulldogs were defeated by Roosters, 24-20, and face the Steelers on Saturday from 3pm in Wollongong.
Dogs decimate dolphins
AFTER leading 16-10 at halftime, Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs didn’t concede another point to triumph 30-10 over the Dolphins on Saturday – the second consecutive game they’ve produced a second half shut out with a top four spot edging closer.
