He was among 20 St John Ambulance NSW members awarded The Order of St John in recognition for going above and beyond to devote their time, effort, and expertise into helping others.
Dr Tran, a Grand Prior Cadet, joined Western Suburbs Cadet Division in 2012.
He is presently a Divisional Officer at Bankstown City Cadet Division and was the Youth Leader of the Year in 2020.
Admitted in the Order to the Grade of Member, Dr Tran has provided over 970 hours of service at public events in addition to over 1,000 hours of administrative support.
Sarah Lance, CEO of St John Ambulance NSW, said that volunteers were the heart of the organisation and helped to build safer and more resilient communities.
“These volunteers have made significant contributions to their communities… We are proud to recognise them, and the incredible impacts they continue to make,” she said.

Divisional member Lewis awarded Order of St John
BANKSTOWN resident and St John Ambulance volunteer, Lewis Tran, has been honoured at Government House at the St John Ambulance Australia (NSW) Investiture Ceremony.
