Believe it or not, the answer actually has to do with increasing safety.
Otter Craft Distilling has teamed up with car-sharing firm Popcar to create an initiative specifically designed to keep their customers safe.
Along with diligent car cleaning, Popcar has now placed a bottle of Otter Craft Distilling’s artisan hand sanitiser (that is made to WHO guidelines) in every single Popcar vehicle across Sydney, Byron Bay, Melbourne and Canberra.
Otter Craft Distilling (OCD) is best known as makers of Premium Whiskey and Vodka in their Inner West distillery.
As Covid-19 spread, owners Eduard and Julie Otter began to receive calls from close friends working in hospitals who were running out of hand sanitiser.
Wanting to help, the decision was made to pivot their business and manufacture hand sanitiser.
“We hope that our OCD Hand Sanitiser brings a little comfort to everyone that uses it, knowing it is 80 per cent ethanol and manufactured with care to WHO Guidelines,” Julie said.
OCD’s hand sanitiser is also registered on Chemwatch and has been audited by the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) and approved. And the best part is that it dries with no odour and uses filtered water that won’t dry out your hands, unlike so many other products.
Otter Craft Distilling hand sanitiser is available online now in 300ml and 500ml. Get your hands on a bottle at ocdistilling.com.
