Dishing up praise for Dooleys chefs

DOOLEYS Waterview diners found themselves in the company of a celebrity on Thursday, when French TV presenter and Perfect Plate Awards Ambassador Manu Feildel dropped in to sample their competition meal.

Dishing up plenty of praise for the club chefs, Manu said: “The barramundi was cooked perfectly with a delicious puree, tomatoes, broccolini and a char-grilled lemon which served as the sauce.”
“During the competition, I’ve seen more of NSW than I ever have before which has been fantastic,” he said.
“I’ve been amazed by the quality of the food and the club chefs are incredibly talented.”
More than 150 clubs from across the state have cooked up a dish – and now it’s up to the public to pick a winner.
Members and guests are invited to visit participating clubs, taste the Perfect Plate dish and give it a score out of five by scanning the eatery’s QR code or filling out a form – but you only have until June 21 to do so.
While diners can only vote for each dish once, they are encouraged to taste as many competition dishes at as many clubs as possible and those who do will have the chance to win dining vouchers worth $2,500.
