The rider, 19, was ejected from the bike after a collision with a car on Hector Street about 6pm and despite being treated by paramedics died at the scene.
The driver of the car, a 64-year-old man, was not injured and taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
Bankstown Police established a crime scene which was examined by specialist officers attached to the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit.
An investigation is underway into the circumstances surrounding the crash and a report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
