The devoted Bulldog has reaffirmed his commitment to the Club by extending his contract until the end of the 2027 season.
“Jacob has been one of the shining lights of the past couple of years and thoroughly deserves his new contract,” said Bulldogs General Manager of Football, Phil Gould.
“His best is clearly in front of him.”
Kiraz began his playing career at the St John’s Eagles and joined the Bulldogs NRL squad in 2022. He quickly established himself as a formidable presence in the NRL, making an impressive debut in Round 7 of that year. With a blend of size, skill and athleticism, he has been a standout performer in both the wing and centre positions for the Club ever since.
The 21-year-old never ventured into the open market and has remained steadfast in his desire to remain a part of the Bulldog family.
The Lebanese international is set to return to Belmore in November alongside his teammates, to begin the 2024 pre-season.
The Bulldogs have also signed of Jason Taylor as NRL Assistant Coach from 2024, on a two-year deal (2024-2025).
Taylor joins the Bulldogs from the North Sydney Bears, grand finalists in the 2023 Knock on Effect NSW Cup competition.
The seasoned coach has previously held coaching positions with the Parramatta Eels, South Sydney Rabbitohs and Wests Tigers spanning 140 NRL games and is looking forward to commencing his time at Canterbury.
Devoted Bulldog to remain in the pack
ONE of the Bulldogs standout performers, Jacob Kiraz will remain in the blue and white for at least another four seasons.
