In keeping with changes in NSW and Australian Lawn Bowls and guided by the present lawn bowls by-laws, the unification also included a new name for the club – Moxon Sports Lawn Bowling Club.
The new committee, President Graham Gollan, Vice Presidents Cheryle Trikeriotis and John Stark and Secretary Lesley Coombes, welcome anyone interested in playing with membership consisting of novice, experienced, able bodied and disabled players with their carers.
Play days are held on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday mornings, with social and championship competitions available at inter club events as well as within the wider Bowls NSW program.
A member of the Canterbury League Club Group, Moxon Sports Club greens are located at 61 Moxon Road, Punchbowl, with the community also welcome to take part in Barefoot Bowls, a family friendly occasion for parties or corporate team building.
