Located in Condell Park with four purpose-built studios and a waiting room for parents, it offers classes in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, musical theatre, acrobatics, boys only hip hop and cheer.
It is registered Covid-safe and all precautions are taken by the teachers to ensure the safety of students. Class sizes are capped to allow for social distancing and individual attention for all students.
A spokesperson said all students were encouraged in a positive learning environment to develop their dance style and technique to their full potential.
“The school caters for both the recreational and vocational students, ensuring all are given the best possible dance experience to suit their needs,” she said.
Students are also able to participate in performance groups, take examinations with the Australian Teachers of Dancing and participate in mid-year and yearly productions, and be a part of the Easter Show and Family Christmas Show teams.
Many of the teachers are also trained as early childhood, primary and high school educators.
BSD is located at Unit 14/35 Birch St, Condell Park. Classes resume this Saturday, January 29, and from 9.30am-3pm, all those interested will be able to tour the facilities and view classes in progress.
