This harvest festival is held on the 15th day of the eighth month of the lunar calendar each year and is celebrated by communities of South Asian cultures.
Mayor Lisa Lake said the family friendly event featured two outdoor film screenings, a meet and greet with Po from Kung Fu Panda, cultural performances, a range of market stalls and of course, mooncake.
“It was a great opportunity to celebrate Cumberland’s diversity, bring family and friends together to embrace our cultural traditions, and enjoy our wonderful community,” she said.
