Cricket clinic invite for boys, girls

DO you know a child who enjoys playing backyard cricket and is looking for an activity over summer?

Perfect for youngsters who have never played cricket before, a free Saints Cricket Clinic hosted by St Christophers Cricket Club Panania and Sydney Thunder, is being held on Saturday, September 9, 10am-12pm, at Marco Reserve, Revesby.
Organiser and Club President Andrew Sheehy said it would be a fantastic opportunity to introduce children to the game and see how much fun it could be as a Junior Saint. “Our pre-season skills clinic for our younger age groups supports the club’s focus on development,” he said.
“Many of our juniors stay with the club until they are well into their teenage years, creating lifelong friendships and becoming very skilful, successful cricketers.
“Ideal for girls and boys aged six to 10 years, the clinic will start off teaching some basic drills on a circuit before playing some games to give them a taste of what is known as Australia’s national sport that’s also enjoyed by millions around the world,” he said.
