Serving the community for over 45 years, Bankstown City Aged Care understands the importance of maintaining dignity, security and providing comfort for residents living with dementia and those requiring high care.
Designed by the Integrated Design Group, its construction is Stage 2 of a master plan for the Yallambee facility.
The two-storey, 48-bed facility is a purpose-built residential facility to assist residents living with dementia and those requiring high care, offering state-of-the-art rooms and facilities featuring innovative designs and layouts to enhance comfort and safety; landscaped outdoor areas and gardens for residents and their visiting families to enjoy; each floor has several common areas, providing residents with the opportunity to socialise and host family and friends; and innovative lifestyle programs designed to engage and entertain.
Since inception in 1972, Bankstown City Aged Care has received exceptional support from the community, as well as overwhelming financial support from their member organisations, licensed clubs and individuals.
In particular, Revesby Workers’ Club has been a very strong long-term supporter of BCAC and pledged $500,000 for this new addition to Yallambee Village, set to open in August.
