Crashed car in police flee

A MAN has been charged after the car he was allegedly driving crashed into a parked camper-trailer in Georges Hall during a police pursuit last Friday night.

The alleged pursuit began when the driver failed to stop for police on Marion Street, Georges Hall.
Minutes later the car crashed into a camper-trailer outside a home on Ashcroft Street.
The 21-year-old driver was treated at the scene before being taken hospital. No one else was injured.
When the man was released from hospital on Saturday morning, he was taken to Bankstown Police Station and charged with police pursuit – not stop – drive dangerously, drive recklessly/furiously or speed/manner dangerous, not comply P1/P2 high performance vehicle restriction and not comply P1 licence-no P plates (class C).
