Countdown to see who’s best

WITH thousands of nominations received and finalists now determined, this year’s Inner West Local Business Awards program is going ahead despite the Covid-19 health crisis.

Precedent Productions Managing Director Steve Loe said the program would proceed on schedule, with the presentation evening and announcement of winners at Le Montage on Wednesday, October 7.
“I have no doubt everyone is experiencing the stress of uncertainty during this unprecedented time,” he said.
“All of us at Precedent Productions extend our thoughts to those of you who are doing it tough.
“Now, more than ever, small businesses and their staff in the Inner West area, need the support of their community.”
Mr Loe said the Local Business Awards had always provided a morale boost to businesses and their staff by allowing the community to show their appreciation and support for their hard work and dedication.
“We can and we will get through this by sticking together and supporting the ‘ShopLocal’ campaign,” he said.
He also praised anonymous judges who are visiting finalists to assess their services from a customer’s point of view.
“Our judges have told me the standard among all finalists is incredibly high, making it difficult to determine clear winners,” he said.
“This comes as no surprise to me as over the years, I have had the pleasure of meeting so many Inner West business owners and their staff, hearing their stories and seeing their dedication for myself.
“Every finalist in every category is listed in this special Inner West Times supplement, ensuring the entire community is aware of who is regarded as the ‘best in business’.”
