Corporate groups take on challenge of Balmoral Burn to aid sick children

WOULD you like to conquer some of Sydney’s steepest hills and at the same time, make a big difference to sick children in hospital?

The Humpty Dumpty Balmoral Burn returns this weekend on Sunday, May 28, to continue the Humpty Dumpty Foundation’s important work of making a tangible impact, saving lives and improving health outcomes. Among the runners this weekend are corporate teams from Star Group Condell Park and Hitachi Revesby who are longtime supporters of the Humpty Dumpty Foundation.
Hitachi manager Doris Pongrac says their group will have two teams of four competing against each other.
“This is such a brilliant run,” she said.
“It’s the one day when our employees get to see the great impact of what we do as a business, meet other organisations that share our values as well as the families that benefit from the hospital donations.
“We are all proud our company has a strong social conscience and are happy to contribute to positive life-changing outcomes.”
Doris said the Balmoral Burn was always a good, fun day with loads of camaraderie to enjoy.
“Everyone should register to do it; you get to run up a hill and have a good time and all for a wonderful cause,” she said.
