Do you know how to terminate a contract legally and with what clauses post-Covid?
These areas and more will be covered during Cumberland Council’s ‘Contract and Legal Matters’ online workshop on offer and free for business people on Thursday, March 25, 6-8pm.
Workshop facilitator Katherine Hawes, a practising barrister who is the principal solicitor and founder of Digital Age Lawyers, has over 20 years’ commercial and family law experience and applies that experience to her own business which she leads within a virtual business model.
“This workshop is designed for small business owners to gain an understanding of the legal issues they need to consider with upstream and downstream contracting,” she said.
“For example, the presentation will focus on some aspects of your website terms and conditions, employment contracts and service agreements.”
She says you will leave the workshop understanding the key issues you need to consider when contracting within your business as well as some individual key elements of different types of contracts.
