Community unites to say no in 16 Days of Activism

THE community turned out in droves to give a ‘Big no to violence against women’ and spread the message that
domestic violence is not on, as part of the 16 Days of Activism march which got underway last week at Merrylands Oval.

WOMEN, children and men rallied together for the Western Sydney Women’s March as part of the annual 16 Days of Activism campaign.
Marching from Merrylands Oval to Merrylands Civic Square, the group was raising awareness of domestic violence and with an average of 18 reported cases of Domestic and Family Violence Related Assaults in Cumberland every week, it’s a major concern.
