Community invited to apply for funds
STATE MP for Bankstown, Tania Mihailuk visited Christ the King Catholic Primary School, Bass Hill, to congratulate them on the completion of the new Adventure Ship play area, made possible by the Community Building Partnership (CBP) grants program.
Ms Mihailuk supported Christ the King Catholic Primary School in its successful application for a $30,000 CBP grant in 2020 which allowed the school to install a new active and sensory play area for its students to enjoy.
Ms Mihailuk met with Christ the King Catholic Primary School’s Principal Ms Lee Scola, teachers, and students to congratulate and commend everyone involved in the successful CBP funding application, and said she was delighted to see the project had been completed.
“The new play area will provide Christ the King school students new opportunities for recreation and fun during the school day,” she said.
Ms Scola said the students and staff are absolutely thrilled with the new adventure playground and they thank Ms Mihailuk for her support with the application.
