Comes out fighting with Adele to leap to ‘battles’

WITH only one spot left on Rita Ora’s team on Channel 7’s The Voice, it was going to have to be an electric talent to turn the coach’s chair.

When Revesby’s Theoni Marks (pictured) took the stage to tackle Adele’s ‘Easy On Me’, it was clear that Ora had found the missing piece of her puzzle, sending her straight through to this week’s battles.
For the 19-year-old, watching her audition back felt akin to an “out of body experience”.
“It didn’t feel real, I didn’t even feel real, it was amazing,” she said.
While she had her heart set on Jessica Mauboy if given the option of all four coaches, she describes Ora as “an angel” to work with and can’t wait to see how far she goes.
“I hope to make Bankstown and the TAP (council’s Talent Advancement Program) family I grew up with, very proud,” she said.
