Come together to unite saying ‘Yes’ to Voice

COMMUNITY leaders and Labor politicians have come together for the Canterbury Bankstown Yes Campaign launch.

More than 250 community leaders, including special guests Noel Pearson, local Indigenous elders and politicians (pictured), gathered at UWS Bankstown last Friday evening for the launch which included the ‘Community Ambassador for Yes’ campaign.
The campaign involves community leaders taking the ‘Yes’ message to the community and explaining “why we need a Voice and what this can achieve”.
Australians will get their say on Saturday, October 14, in a referendum about whether to change the Constitution to recognise the First Peoples of Australia by establishing a body called the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice.
