College helping to build a better future for adults

BANKSTOWN Senior College students are being congratulated on their 2023 HSC achievements and dedication to their studies with special commendation to Basmala Elkadi who has been named Dux.

Basmala received an ATAR of 82.2 and a top ranking in Arabic Extension, Arabic Continuers and Retail Services.
A spokesperson said all students achieved the results necessary for them to pursue their chosen paths, indicating a bright future ahead for each individual.
“As they embark on their next journey, whether it be further education or entering the workforce, we are sure they will carry with them the values acquired here including dedication, a joy of learning and a desire for positive relationships,” she said.
“We are a co-educational, non-uniform high school for adults to undertake full-time study Monday to Thursday.”
Bankstown Senior College offers English classes for new arrivals, Years 11 and 12 (HSC courses), Year 10 (RoSA), English for Study (EFS), Adult Intensive English (IEC), a wide range of subjects, pathway courses and supportive and experienced staff.
