A Registered Training Organisation (90276), member of Community Colleges Australia and for social purpose (not-for-profit), PCC has been at the forefront of community education since 1986.
Awarded ‘Most Outstanding Education Service’ twice at the prestigious Parramatta Local Business Awards, PCC offers a spacious quality training facility to students where they deliver accredited and non-accredited courses to bolster professional and personal development.
Courses include: NSW Government Funded training; Business, Workplace and Computer Skills, Leisure and Lifestyle; and foreign languages such as Japanese, Arabic, Hindi, Spanish, Dutch, Swedish, Italian, Korean, German, Mandarin and French.
Marketing and Programs Manager Merven Virueda says the programs are flexible and accessible.
“We strive to provide important life skills that benefit our community,” he said.
“Our courses can also be customised and we can send trainers to you and your organisation if travelling to the college is a barrier.”
PCC is presently offering a fee-free Summer Skills Program for young people aged 16-24 years, who have left school and want to learn new skills.
(This training is subsidised by the NSW Government and eligibility criteria applies.).
Courses include: Beauty, Hospitality, Retail, Business Administration and Health and Community Services.
Its aim is to enable youth to experience vocational training by exploring short courses that help them gain valuable skills for in-demand jobs.
“This is an awesome opportunity for any youth out there wanting to work as a sales assistant at JD Sports, a barista at a café, or a makeup artist in the beauty industry because we’ve got plenty of short courses to help them become job-ready,” Merven said.
